Simple Breakfast Ideas. #Weekdays #SomethingForThe Road
Breakfasts are essential and very important in your healthy living journey.
It also shouldn’t cost you an arm and a leg, or take a lot of time to prepare especially if you have to catch the bus, train, boat or drive down to work or school.
Here is what i had for breakfast on of the days this week.
I usually start my day with a glass of lemon drink in cold or warm water with a teaspoon of honey if i like.
Ingredients
½ Lemon Juice (squeezed)
½ Cup of Blueberries
2 boiled Eggs
1 Cup of Oats
2 Teaspoons Honey
1 Tablespoon Flax seeds
How to Prepare?
Pour 3 cups of water into a cooking pot and allow to boil for 5 minutes
Pour the flax seeds in to cook.
Pour the oats in the boiled water , stir and allow to cook for 5 minutes.
Add 2 teaspoons of honey and stir.
Serve and enjoy with your already boiled eggs.

In my country, blueberries are pricey, but I agree with honey lemon juice. Greatest detox morning drink 👍

You can use any other fruits like raspberries or strawberries.

Our local berries are too sour for this, and not easy to buy. I will find an alternative, and let you know. Maybe I will use star fruit or pineapple 👍

Tropical pineapples are not too sour, actually ripe ones are quite sweet and often be sold as street food 😊
