Silverbeet & Kale Vegetable Stir Fry
My love for Kale knows no bound. Lovers of my blog know I love kale, as I am either eating it in soups or stir fries or drinking it in my smoothies.
I decided to combine Kale with Silverbeet (Swiss chard), my new found love among vegetables. I love Silverbeet (Swiss chard) for its crunchiness and strength when cooked.
“Silverbeet, also known as Swiss chard, is part of the beet family, and its large bunches of bright-green, thick leaves are packed full of vitamins, fibre and goodness. In abundance now, silverbeet has a deep earthy flavour and a wonderful bitter sweetness.”
“Swiss chard offers dietary fiber, which helps to regulate blood sugar levels during the digestive process. It also contains a wealth of vitamins C, E, and K, beta-carotene, manganese, and antioxidants.”
Here is a step by step process of how i made my delicious Silverbeet & Kale Vegetable Mix.
First i added some olive oil into the cooking pot, which i allowed to heat for about 3 minutes and then added garlic;
Then i added 2 diced onions and cooked for 2 – 3 minutes,
Then i added my herbs, spices and salt.
Next, i added my already boiled and lamb and cooked for 5 minutes, so the sauce can saturate the meat.
Next i added the already washed and cut vegetables, covered the pot to simmer aand cook for 5 minutes.
Volla , your silverbeet & kale Vegetable mix is ready;

I love spinach too, i usually combine them in my veges or smoothies. Spinach just tends to be too soft when looking for that crunchiness in veges. It is a superb vege with great nutritional values.
